Aren’t you so tired of gimmicks?
Hey, no sales pressure here. I’m about as anti-sales as you can get! Can’t stand the stuff!
What gets me is the get rich quick fads of today…you know…
“Make money online, blah blah blah…do this do that…sign up for this…become a member of that…etc…it’s all a game and a lot of effort and only gives those fad developers traffic but not you…
Stop chasing after all of those fads…you deserve better than that! Stop signing on for endless social media sites to capture yet another traffic gimmick…stop being fake by buzzing around so you can lure traffic. Stop fishing in the pond for the big fish.
80% of what’s out there is get rich quick oriented, as it always will be because that’s what sizzles, buzzes and sells (because to them, it’s all about the sizzle not the steak…heck they could sell a soy burger and pass it off as real hamburger…until you take a bite!)
What to Do
Stop playing the get-rich-quick game. Don’t buy a soy burger disguised as a real burger…only to find out when you buy it that it’s not the real thing. Invest in the real thing from the start. In quality. In value. Get rich slow, gradually and surely…build quality content and sell something worth selling…don’t just market hot air like the rest…
Don’t any of you remember that you already learned this as a kid?
Remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare? The Tortoise is slower, and the hare could run circles around one. The Hare is fast, slick, even smart. They jump in, and make it happen. They even have success at first, and their overconfidence grows…as do their spending habits.
The Hares of today are all of those get-rich-quick make money online super-duper marketers extraordinaire…the ones that want to create hundreds and hundreds of junk sites with supposed content, just to capture traffic to capture click-thrus…their entire model is based on volume and speed, not a slow, steady, quality conscious approach to a blog or website.
Well, everyone knows that the hares of the world get careless, and that’s why they lose. They start off with a bad philosophy as their foundation. They depend on things that may fail them. In the story, the hare falls asleep and the rabbit passes him by and wins the race before the Hare even wakes up. In real life, this happens…
Real life application of the Tortoise and the Hare…
In real life, the analogy to falling asleep is that the hares of the world fall asleep to things that can suddenly destroy their foundations overnight…by changing factors that rank their pages for search, or by their server going down, or their site getting de-listed or a myriad of other fly-by-night things they depend on.
Or, worse, tax laws or other things they sleep on as they “make their millions” like you see in all of the infomercials. What you don’t see is them getting arrested for tax evasion, fraud, etc. When the hares of the world “wake up” they lose the race by being bankrupt or they wake up in jail.
The tortoises on the other hand did it right from the start slowly and steadily, and end up winning the race. Their philosophy was always the right one. It was the one that always wins. Sureness in action, persistence and gradual progress over time. Afterward, they still keep going. And surpass the rest who appear smarter, slicker, stronger and more ambitious.
Don’t fall for those get rich quick schemes!
Don’t be that sucker born every minute…they depend on it to snare you into their making money fad…and it’s not anything that lasts, trust me.
So forget 80% of what you hear out there about getting traffic and making money because the main reason is the advice is just bad advice. It’s based on the get rich quick mentality, and that mentality is inherently flawed.
You cannot adopt that mentality in your approach. You must try to get rich slowly, steadily, with hard work and lots of drive, persistence and heart!
